How much does it cost to list my space with Subler?
Subler is free to list your space. With a free account, you are able to create an unlimited amount of listings at no additional cost. We operate on a commission basis, meaning we won’t get paid until we find you a qualified lead! We charge a 15% commission fee only if a transaction is processed.
Can hosts set their own availability?
Yes! you dictate when you make the gym available. Subler supports availability management for hourly listings. When hourly availability management is used, you can define a default schedule and time slots to open the time when you are available, on the listing page, by clicking "Edit availability".
Whenever certain time slots are booked, renters cannot book the same hours anymore unless you decide to reject the initial booking, in which case the slots are freed. The provider cannot block or unblock slots from their calendar if there's already a booking on those dates.
Can hosts set their own prices?
Yes! You dictate how much you want to earn for renting out your space. To learn more about how to set your prices, check out our guide here. Keep in mind you want to set competitive prices. Prices range depending on facility location, type and amenities available.
How are payments collected and how do hosts get paid?
Subler allows you to collect payments through two different payment systems: Stripe and PayPal.Once a transaction is processed, you are paid immediately (1-2 days for the funds to hit your account). The payments are sent directly to your account minus the 15% Subler commission fee. Payments will not be processed until both parties approve of the transaction.
Does Subler cover insurance?
Subler works with each guest to ensure they have the proper insurance. Our guest typically own a $1M General Liability policy that covers personal injury and damage. We get it: safety first. That is why we work directly with facilities to list their insurance requirements on each listing to inform future guests of their insurance requirements. At this time, Subler does not provide additional insurance to facilities.
Someone just requested my space. Now what?!
Congrats! Someone is interested in renting your space. If the guest sends you a reservation request, you’ll need to accept or decline within 24 hours.
Can we decline booking inquiries or reservation requests?
You can always decline any booking inquiries or reservation requests that you can’t accommodate, but you should do so within 24 hours. Whether you accept or decline, the amount of time it takes you to respond to requests is factored into your response rate. Rejecting a large number of requests can have an impact on subsequent search results, as well as reservation rates.
When you decline a reservation request, you can choose to keep the calendar dates blocked or make them available for someone else to book. Update your calendar regularly so you'll only receive reservation requests for when you're able to host.
If you change your mind and would like to accommodate a reservation you declined, ask the guest to send a new request, or send them a special offer or pre-approval.
